Motivated, in part, by the successful use of Mi-Forms for mobile data collection by civilian government agencies such as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Mi-Co has begun field trials of Mi-Forms for DoD Services.
The US Air Force Expeditionary Medicine Electronics Support Agency (AFMESA) has acquired Mi-Forms and evaluated it for use in Air Force field hospitals deployed around the world. The Air Force Material Command has acquired Mi-Forms to meet a variety of mobile data collection requirements including airfield runway inspections and base security.
The US Army’s 18th Airborne Corps is presently evaluating Mi-Forms to replace a variety of paper forms including helicopter logbooks (82nd Airborne Aviation Battalion) and for collection of personnel training and combat jump records (505th Parachute Infantry Regiment).
