"Mi-Co is extremely pleased to be one of several IT companies presenting at Venture 2005," said James Clary, CEO. "The conference is the perfect opportunity for Mi-Co's executive team to highlight the success the company has achieved since it was an early stage presenter at CED's Venture 2001 and to articulate where Mi-Co is heading. With marquee customers in the commercial sector including Spectrasite and Health Decisions and governmental clients such as the United States Department of Agriculture and the Internal Revenue Service, Mi-Co is positioned to rapidly expand our revenue and increase our profitability. As we continue to add customers, it is a tremendous advantage for Mi-Co to have proven handwritten forms automation technology that has been validated in the marketplace by enterprise and government organizations for their mobile data capture needs."
Mi-Co is celebrating five years of providing Mi-Forms Software to its customers. Mi-Forms Software provides significant cost savings and increased data quality in such applications as doctors and nurses collecting patient data, veterinarians capturing information on cattle and a wide range of municipal, federal and commercial inspection applications.
At the Health Information Management Information Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference in Dallas, Mi-Co announced the latest expansion of the product line, the Mi-Forms Home Health Solution. This solution is targeted to the 9100 free standing and hospital-based home health organizations in the United States. This product is built upon Mi-Co's three year success with home health customers including Wilson County NC Home Health Agency and the Boston Public Health Commission.
Kevin Burden, IDC Program Manager-Mobile Devices stated, "These applications are the types that turn a general hardware device, like the Tablet PC, into a vertical or specific solution device. Digital ink applications can be an excellent fit for organizations needing to capture data while in a true mobile state."
