Cataler North America, UNC Health Care, Health Decisions, Lakewood Fire Department and Logical Progression Honored at Mi-Co Annual User Days Event

Research Triangle Park , NC May 10, 2007. Mi-Co, the mobile data capture company, honored innovative Mi-Forms users and partners at the Awards Luncheon during the Mi-Co User Days. The following awards were presented: Mi-Forms User of the Year to Charles Watkins, Jr. of Cataler North America; Mi-Forms Impact Player of the Year to staff of UNC Health Care; Mi-Forms Solution Builder of the Year to Lt. Curtis Ziesseniss of the Lakewood Fire Department, OEM Partner of the Year to Logical Progression and Solution Partner of the Year to Health Decisions.

The Mi-Forms User of the Year, Charles "Chuck" Watkins, Jr. was a driving force in increasing the efficiency of plant floor operators by implementing Mi-Forms on Tablet PCs for both rapid data input and automatically performing calculations for the users at Cataler North America. Cataler North America is a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Company. This subsidiary produces the catalyst portion of catalytic converters, which performs the filtration of automobile exhaust.

Chuck has have been involved in virtually all areas of Information Systems over the past 10 years. This includes extensive experience in manufacturing but he has also worked in the healthcare and field service arenas.

This is the fifth year that Mi-Co has presented awards to individuals and organizations that have demonstrated innovation in the use of mobile data capture and digital ink solutions. Past winners of Mi-Forms User and Partner Awards include representatives of the Internal Revenue Service, Sutter Health, Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, US Department of Agriculture, Boston Public Health Commission, and Mi-Co partner, Optiform.
