Washington D.C. (March 02, 2010). Mi-Co co-hosted a breakfast seminar today with partner FedResults titled “Computing on the Go: The Evolution of the iPad, Tablet PCs and Digital Pens.” The briefing included a presentation by Greg Clary, PhD, CEO of Mi-Co and expert in mobile computing with 8 patents in this space. This event was held Tuesday, March 2, 2010, from 7:30-10 am, at the Tower Club Tysons Corner in Vienna, VA.

The briefing included a panel discussion with experts who have used such technology in the past to improve their businesses, and was moderated by Bob Dinkel, President of FedResults. Panelists included Ricky Stiff, former Chief of the Excise Tax division of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Greg Clary and Kyle Smith, Cardiovascular Information Systems Manager at Sutter Health of California. Sutter Health doctors and health care service providers serve patients in more than 100 Northern California cities and towns.

Attendees included a variety of high-level personnel from various government agencies, the military and commercial companies with federal contracts. The presentations were very well received, and attendees stayed for a considerable time after the event to test the Mi-Forms software from Mi-Co on demo Tablet PCs and Digital Pens in the room.

Bob Dinkel of FedResults says, “We were very pleased with this event. There was great turnout and engagement with the speakers, high energy and enthusiasm. We look forward to repeating this event and engaging even more people in the future to spread the word about Mi-Co’s unique technology solutions for mobile data collection and electronic data capture.”
