This has been a big week in the tablet world. Apple unveiled the iPad Air and the iPad Mini with Retina display. There are now four iPad models available to choose from. And it seems that new Android tablets are showing up on a weekly basis.
Each new batch of tablets released is faster and more powerful than the previous generation. More and more businesses are deciding that tablets can be a viable, less expensive alternative to a full laptop for many tasks. One task that tablets are very well suited for is mobile data collection.
More tablets? More powerful tablets? More businesses looking to leverage tablets for data collection, beyond their use for just email, web browsing and games? That sounds like a great reason to expand the capabilities of Mi-Forms Mobile Forms on tablets. And that's exactly what we're doing with the next release of Mi-Forms.
We are working on increasing what can be done with Mi-Forms on the various tablet platforms. A key element of this is allowing more functionality while away from network connections. This is a major focus of the next Mi-Forms release. It will allow you to do even more no matter where you are. I can't tell you all of the details yet, but I can tell you that there are exciting things to look forward to in the very near future...
No laptop? No network? No problem.
